This price looks OK for a good hosting service: free for three months and then £2.49 a month. But what they don’t tell you until AFTER you bought their package and you have PAID for it is that you can’t even try to cancel until the END of your contract and there is a hidden setup fee to be added on! The price is so low because their service is so LOW itself!

Another lie from the desks of 1&1 - according to their Support page they state the following: Billing: Monday-Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm. BUT on their advertisements on Google they say: “1&1 hosting, unlimited bandwidth and 24/7 support.  Also, calling their pricey telephone line outsources your call, guess where? Russia. Every customer service call goes through Russian operators.

Buying a domain from 1&1 also is a con. They promise a 24/7, Unlimited Bandwidth reliable UK hosted domain. But what really goes on? The domain is actually hosted in Europe or outside the UK and is just made to look like it has been UK hosted.
